Senior Hot Tub & Swim Spa Service Technician - Inverness, Aberdeen and Manchester
SPATECUK® is seeking a Senior Hot Tub & Swim Spa Service Technician to work alongside the Associate Technical Support Director to provide support to field-based technicians and franchisees across the UK & Ireland to diagnose and resolve issues remotely within its Hostcomm team.

Location: Field based - Inverness, Aberdeen and Manchester
Salary: £36,000 Salary subject to qualifications and experience.
Main duties and tasks
Reporting to the Associate Technical Support Director, the aim of this role is to innovate, develop, integrate, and implement system controls to support field-based technicians and franchisees across the UK and Ireland, through:
Training and developing field-based service technicians to meet operational requirements.
Overviewing practices and procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Diagnose and resolve issues remotely within its Hostcomm team.
Installing and commissioning hot tubs and swim spas
Callouts for critical breakdowns for key account clients
Identifying and fixing electrical, mechanical and software faults.
Production of accurate written documentation for customers and field-based technicians.
Preventative maintenance and servicing protocols
What we are looking for in our Senior Hot Tub & Swim Spa Service Technician
Managing and leading staff, maximising job satisfaction, and ensuring recruitments meet operational requirements.
Must be self-motivated and enjoy working outdoors in all weathers.
Willing to travel & have a full UK clean driving license (company vehicle will be provided)
Experience of hot tub and swim spa maintenance, Water Regulations or as a Water Hygiene Technician would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate will:
Hold a full clean UK driving licence.
A recognised formal technical qualification or significant experience working within the industry (minimum 8 years).
Have excellent customer service and communication skills, always remaining professional.
Must be always aware of the condition of the hot tub and take immediate steps to correct any unsafe condition.
Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment as directed by the Associate Technical Support Director.
Inspect and maintain all tools in excellent condition.
Be able to take direction and instructions easily.
Dedicated, conscientious worker with a positive, "Cando" attitude to create a friendly environment for clients and co-workers.
Openness to new ways of thinking and acquiring new skills to retain a competitive advantage.
